The Synergos Institute, a 30 year old global non-profit organization based in New York City, is seeking a President & CEO.

About Synergos

Synergos brings people together in change initiatives around the world that aim to find sustainable solutions to complex problems of poverty and inequality. It fosters successful collaborations among business, government, civil society and poor and marginalized communities, identifying and enhancing the effectiveness of diverse bridging leaders, networks, institutions, philanthropies and community organizations that seek to use creative methodologies to build trust and identify and implement change processes. These activities include consulting services that work with businesses and foundations to help them design and implement effective community engagement strategies.

Synergos has an annual operating budget of about $ 12 million, a board restricted fund of a comparable sum, an exceptional staff of more than 35 individuals and program staff and consultants with whom it works in nine countries in North & South America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. It has relationships with leaders, philanthropists and organizations throughout the world, including Brazil, Mexico, Turkey, India, and China.
