Philanthropy and Impact Investing in the New Era

Thursday, January 19, 2017  |  10-11:30am PDT

CONFLUENCE MEMBERS ONLY - REGISTER HERE

As the reality of the presidential election settles in, there remains an incredible whirlwind of uncertainty about what will actually happen to our world and our work under the new administration. We are compelled to look ahead and focus on what we can accomplish in the years to come. The philanthropic and investment communities have always been uniquely positioned to impact social and environmental issues that our elected officials are unwilling or unable to address through governance, and this time is no different. If anything, our collective potential, responsibility, and commitment to pursuing a mission for a better world must be greater now than ever before.

Please join Confluence Philanthropy for a discussion about what may change and what we must reaffirm in times to come through the tools at hand for impact investors.

Speakers to include:

  • Geeta Aiyer, President, Boston Common Asset Management
  • Stephen Heintz, President, Rockefeller Brothers Fund
  • Dennis Kucinich, former US Representative
  • Thomas Van Dyck, Managing Director, Financial Advisor - SRI Wealth Management Group at RBC Wealth Management

Participation in this event is open only to Confluence members, and is not open to non-member funders or advisors, grantseeking organizations, or students.
