Thursday, March 29, 11am - 12pm PT / 2-3 pm ET
As part of the Climate Solutions Collaborative (C2C) mission to accelerate the flow of philanthropic and family office capital to address climate change, C2C offers opportunities for members to engage directly with other members who are making climate related impact investments. Harnessing the power of the C2C network, we encourage peer-to-peer collaboration and shared understanding through collective dialogue and engagement. As part of the C2C Exploration Series, we invite you to join us for a members-only session to learn more about two exciting entrepreneurs from the California Clean Energy Fund’s (CalCEF) CalSEED program that are working to solve specific climate issues. Nativus is developing a hyper-efficient air conditioner for residential and commercial use, and Sepion Technologies is developing a membrane to enhance the performance of products like lithium batteries to improve efficiency.
During this hour-long members-only session, CalCEF will present their overall mission and outline their approach to deal sourcing. Members will then hear directly from Nativus and Sepion Technologies on how they are looking to partner as they build their companies. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of each company, both from a climate and financial impact perspective. The session will conclude with an investors-only discussion to encourage knowledge sharing and open dialogue among the C2C community.
