BY INVITATION ONLY
Organized with Pegasus Capital Advisors
Solving a massive problem like climate change demands creative strategies for scaling and deploying capital. This session will explore a number of investment approaches and resources available to the private sector to close the Paris Agreement investment gap. Panelists will identify some of the greatest areas of investment need across geographies, technologies, companies, projects, and discuss ways for investors with different risk/return profiles and across asset classes to work together to unlock capital flows. We will then consider the emerging field of blended finance and the tools it offers to de-risk deals and bring more investable opportunities to market. The session will highlight methods for all types of investors with various mandates to participate in blended finance deals and highlight potential investment partners, including the Green Climate Fund.
The agenda will include a panel featuring investors and industry specialists, followed by interactive table discussions to consider various deal structures and resources to take away.
Note: This is not a ‘101’ session, but geared for an audience somewhat knowledgeable about financing vehicles.
