A Climate Solutions Collaborative Meeting: What is Climate Finance?

Confluence Philanthropy is thrilled to launch the first meeting of its Climate Solutions Collaborative (C2C). Achieving global carbon-reduction targets requires tactical, large-scale investment. This in turn depends on extraordinary cooperation. C2C provides a safe and practical space for asset owners, and their managers and designees, to drive climate solutions through co investment and strategic grantmaking in climate finance. Through successive meetings and community sharing, C2C will make the field of climate investing more connective, active, and effective.

This thought leadership meeting will define what climate finance means in the context of meaningful climate-reduction targets within an economic and innovations framework. Outcomes will be used to inform investor collaboration and strategic priorities as well as to clearly link tactical financing to global goals.

C2C is a fiscally-sponsored partnership by Confluence Philanthropy with CREO Syndicate.

SPEAKERS:

  • Drew Jones, Co-Director, Climate Initiative (Pending)
  • Peter Knight, President, Generation Investment Management
  • Dana Lanza, CEO, Confluence Philanthropy
  • Jason Scott, Partner, Encourage Capital
  • Terry Tamminen, President, Seventh Generation Advisors
  • Adam Wolfensohn, Chairman and Co-Managing Partner, Encourage Capital
  • Additional speakers to be announced
