Confluence Philanthropy’s Annual Practitioners Gathering is a three-day conference for current members of the Practitioner and Advisor programs, prospective members, and invited guests. Confluence Members are foundations, high net worth investors and their investment advisors that collaborate in Mission-Related Investing (MRI), the process of integrating investment strategy with social and/or environmental goals. Our community represents a combined $3 trillion in assets under management, with more than $61.5 billion designated as philanthropic capital, much of which is committed to full mission alignment when prudent and feasible. Conference attendees are committed to building the field through strategic thinking and collaboration. The Practitioners Gathering is not intended to serve as a marketplace for impact-investing. Sessions are led by funder-practitioners, investment experts, and other thought leaders.
The 6th Annual Practitioners Gathering was held March 9-11th, 2016 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This year, the conference will be held March 14-16, 2017 at the Hotel Monteleone in New Orleans, Louisiana.
