Town Hall Webinar: The Future of the Belonging Pledge for Racial Equity

EVENT OPEN TO BELONGING PLEDGE SIGNATORIES & CONFLUENCE MEMBERS ONLY

Today, competing priorities for investor attention, coupled with legal uncertainty following the June 2023 SCOTUS ruling against affirmative action, require that investors deepen their strategies to advance racial equity lens investing, both individually and as a collective. This invitation-only webinar will convene Belonging Pledge signatories to discuss how our collective approach might shift and explore potential pursuits.

The Belonging Pledge, launched by Confluence Philanthropy and peer networks, is a call for racial equity across the investment industry. There are more than 200 organizational signatories who have committed to discussing racial equity investing. Together, they represent over $2 trillion in assets under management.

The participation fee for signatories who are not Confluence members is $30.

Speakers:

  • Meredith Benton, Principal and Founder, Whistle Stop Capital
  • Dana Lanza, CEO and President, Confluence Philanthropy
  • Chintan Panchal, Founding Partner, RPCK
  • Morgan Simon, Founding Partner, Candide Group
  • Courtney Wicks, Board Member, Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR)
