Please join Confluence Philanthropy and HUB Oakland at the California Endowment’s Oakland Conference Center for a roundtable discussion about urban development, impact investing and social displacement in the Bay Area. This roundtable discussion will explore the ways in which investors, community developers and philanthropists can collaborate to foster inclusive development. Diverse perspectives are welcome, anchored within a shared goal of working to create a diverse, economically-just Bay Area for everybody.
Questions to be addressed include: What strategies can be employed to foster sustainable, healthy, diverse neighborhoods? How can local economic growth and real estate development empower lower-income populations, and preserve neighborhoods? How can developers help to generate jobs by partnering with place-based impact investors?

Lunch will be provided.
