This event is open to Confluence members only.
Despite decades of values-aligned investor collaboration, there has been a concerning lack of progress in allocating foundation and endowment capital to impact initiatives overall. This has prompted questions about the effectiveness of values-aligned investor collaboratives, and the conditions that have either helped or hindered missions to accelerate capital deployment.
The Collaborative Impact Investing Forum, co-organized by Confluence Philanthropy and the New Mexico Impact Investing Collaborative (NMIIC), will bring investor collaboratives, national funders, and local foundations together to explore this topic. Together, we will also delve into how successful collaborations have produced outsized outcomes and the factors that enable investors to drive social and environmental impact, alongside returns.
Participants will be exposed to varying collaborative models, explore innovations unique to New Mexico, and gain new relationships that support regional projects and initiatives. The agenda will feature interactive, seminar-style discussions, networking, dinner, and optional visits to local projects and organizations. Most of all, it includes intellectual fun!
