Innovation and investment in clean energy is essential to advancing a clean energy economy and bringing the United States closer to its low carbon commitments. Aspiring clean tech entrepreneurs need early stage support to bring new technologies to market readiness. Numerous incubators have emerged to provide this support, making the landscape robust but challenging for investors to navigate.
In 2014, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) launched the National Incubator Initiative for Clean Energy; a national network serving clean energy small businesses and entrepreneurs. Under this initiative, the Incubatenergy program - led by the Electric Power Research Institute and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory - coordinates and provides support to clean energy-focused business incubators nationwide.
Please The Climate Solutions Collaborative (C2C) in conversation with the DOE’s Incubatenergy program and clean energy incubators across the U.S. Ample time for Q&A will be provided.
