Confluence Recommends: 2019 EGA Fall Retreat

The Environmental Grantmakers Association (EGA) is excited to announce that our 2019 Fall Retreat registration is now open! The EGA Fall Retreat is an opportunity for funders to engage with the current landscape of philanthropy, connect with other foundations, and build new networks. To join us for the Retreat, be sure to register and book your lodging at our special, early-bird rate by July 15th, after which point prices may go up.

We look forward to meeting in Napa, California this September 22-25, a region that has been on the frontlines, and at the forefront, of conversations about climate change impacts and natural disasters, from droughts to wildfires. The Retreat will provide an opportunity to connect with colleagues in the coastal state of California where a unique natural environment connects with the history of the people who live and work on it, from the Indigenous Peoples to the vitners and farm workers - anchoring our conversation in our efforts to protect natural systems and the people who depend on them in this pivotal moment for our democracy, nationally and globally.

Confluence Philanthropy members are especially welcome to our themed dinner on Impact Investment for Just Transition. We also invite you to our many exciting diversity, equity and inclusion sessions, including pre and post-conference institutes and concurrent sessions.

Head over to the EGA website to view a draft agenda (login required, if you do not have an EGA login contact Malavika Sahai for more information), register to attend, and book your lodging for the event.
