Practitioner Members are invited to join us for a bio-regional field trip as part of Confluence’s Farm & Food Practitioners Gathering series at TomKat Ranch in Pescadero, CA. Attendees will spend the day walking the grounds of TomKat Ranch to experience regenerative ranching and learn about restorative land and resource management from Confluence member and TomKat Ranch Founder Kat Taylor, the ranch team members, local farmers, and Dan Chu, Executive Director, Sierra Club Foundation. A primary focus will be on investing in the production of healthy food while also providing habitat for wildlife and pollinators, preserving scenic open space, filtering and holding rainwater, and housing a diversity of plant and microbial communities that can transform soils into sinks for greenhouse gases.
This event is for Practitioner members and limited to 30 participants.
