A significant obstacle to making a commitment can be not having sufficient information to create a Net Zero investment strategy and figuring it all out on one’s own can be resource and time intensive, and complicated.

Confluence’s Climate Solutions Collaborative (C2C) is offering a day and a half immersive learning opportunity for our Investor Members and selected Advisors, creating a small cohort to explore how to create a Net Zero investment strategy. Each Intensive will utilize leading experts in a seminar-style experience for up to 15 foundation teams. Each foundation is welcome to bring one member from their Advisory firm.

The second of two “Net Zero Intensives” is being offered – one on each coast – to help foundations overcome key barriers to making a public Net Zero commitment. Over the day and a half, participants will explore pathways and high impact sectors for meeting the Paris goals, frameworks and reporting requirements, corporate engagement strategies, carbon credits/offsets, and equity-based outcomes. We are offering an Intensive on February 1-2 in Manhattan, following November’s Intensive in downtown San Francisco.

Requirements:

• Each organization will bring at least two people – a key decision-maker and an Investment Advisor (i.e., an Investment Committee member, OCIO, or CFO/CIO) – and may identify an additional attendee. We encourage participation of your Investment Advisor.
• All participants must attend the entire meeting.
• The registration fee is $375/person, not inclusive of related travel and accommodation costs. A group dinner is also offered on the first evening, which we encourage everyone to attend.

Participation Criteria:

• Confluence Investor Member in good standing
• Clear desire to publicly commit to a Net Zero investment strategy
